Summer Flower Study 6

$85.00

On our last morning by the ocean, we ate smoothie bowls with our feet in the sand.

I was already mentally on the plane, making grocery lists and preparing for home.

While Justin kept photographing the water, our breakfast, and the way the morning looked.

I wondered what could possibly be left to photograph after a whole trip of pictures.

I do this sometimes. I leave things I love before they can leave me.

Now those photographs are some of my favorites.

He treated the last morning like the trip wasn’t over yet, like it was still ours.

An original watercolor inspired by the colors and shapes of summer.

Painted by hand on paper, this piece is part of an ongoing study of seasonal flowers and the quiet beauty they bring for a short time each year.

This painting is 6”x 6” and comes in a white mat 8”x 8”.

Standard sizes make it easy to pop right into a frame and up onto your wall in no time.
