Red, White, & Blue

I was in Girl Scouts as a kid.

My mom was our troop leader and we did all sorts of things.

Hiking, camping, and learning fire safety.

Service projects that helped the community.

Leadership and confidence building activities.

Lots of art, science, and cooking classes.

Then there was cookie season.

The most famous season of all.

It’s meant to teach goal setting and business skills.

But it also taught me how much I love Thin Mints.

And apparently, so does most of America.
