Peace Out

I couldn’t take my eyes off of her.

My yoga instructor in Costa Rica.

Her words, her hair style, how she carried herself.

She was just so…free.

I tried to play it cool.

But I craved her playfulness and grace.

The ease in which she surrendered perfection.

The longer I watched her teach.

The bigger the mirror she held up for me.

And all I could think about were the conditions that must exist.

To make freedom possible for me, too.
