Mistakes

Hindsight is becoming a bigger player the older I get.

It feels like a gift.

But also a little shaming.

If I hadn’t ignored that red flag.

If I had just listened to my gut.

Where would I be now?

My mind tells me I'd be happier.

Wealthier.

Healthier.

But hindsight rarely factors in love.

Would I feel more loved had I taken a different path?

Probably not.
