Is it strange that I wake up already bracing?
For noise. Rushing. The cold drive.
Even if I sleep, my body doesnโt always feel rested.
When every moment is timed.
Rest starts to feel unfamiliar.
My nervous system runs on tension.
Tight shoulders, shallow breath.
The hum under my skin.
๐ฟ Lavender is a nervine.
A plant that speaks to the body in a language softer than words.
It helps loosen whatโs clenched.
Coaxes the breath back in.
And reminds me what calm actually feels like.
