She crocheted hundreds of teddy bears and ornaments and scarves and clothes.

She donated them to the church and anonymously gifted them away.

When I left for college she knitted me a cozy blanket with my school's colors.

A labor of love she extended to all twelve of her grandkids.

I'd like to think Grandma and I had more in common than our love of chocolate.

We both loved working with our hands.
