VIP Newsletter

I send an email every week to share a little about each piece and the story behind why I make what I make.

I’ll never share your contact information.

Thank you!
There’s more I want to do.

And even more I want to grow into.

I want to sweat while tending a garden that’s a little too big.

Wipe pollen off a stone porch and call it home.

Be interrupted by ten dogs who all need something at once.

Be interrupted by ten dogs who all need something at once. I want to carry firewood out back. Roast blistered tomatoes over an open flame. Layer them with burrata and peaches. And call it a snack. I want sore legs from hiking Mount Rainier. To stretch on the floor while the sun goes down. I want to live in a tiny flat in Italy long enough to have a routine. Even if it doesn’t have air conditioning or a proper washer. I want to stumble into a cozy café where no one can find me. And waste the day dreaming up more things I might want. So that when I’m painting in the studio, they all feel possible. HIBISCUS December 20 Available @ https://www.emilyknabbart.com/21gifts/p/hibiscus 🌿 Hibiscus blooms are bold and brief. Dried tea leaves relax the system and soften the heart. It reminds me that longing isn't a void. It’s proof I’m still alive. #21gitfs #dec20 #handmade #hibiscusflower #secretgarden

I first heard about Ayurveda in yoga class.

The teacher called it the culinary extension of yoga.

Something told me to look it up when I got home.

What I found was a hidden world.

Where food became medicine.

I first heard about Ayurveda in yoga class. The teacher called it the culinary extension of yoga. Something told me to look it up when I got home. What I found was a hidden world. Where food became medicine. And discomfort became something to listen to, not silence. It lit a fire in me. Because when suffering is chronic, it’s constant. Life-long. It demands creative, lasting solutions. For the first time in a long time. Healing felt like something I could hold.
