I first heard about Ayurveda in yoga class.
The teacher called it the culinary extension of yoga.
Something told me to look it up when I got home.
What I found was a hidden world.
Where food became medicine.
And discomfort became something to listen to, not silence.
It lit a fire in me.
Because when suffering is chronic, it’s constant.
Life-long.
It demands creative, lasting solutions.
For the first time in a long time.
Healing felt like something I could hold.
🌿 Long before it was candy, marshmallow root was used to soothe.
A balm for throats, skin, and the gut.
It doesn’t rush healing.
It meets the body where it is.
