I love the lake.
And lately, I love paddleboarding on the lake.
When I’m feeling extra strong, I go way around the bend to find the lily pads.
Sometimes they’re there, and sometimes they haven’t bloomed yet.
If I’m lucky, I’ll see hundreds of them—blossoming.
Just a floating garden on the water.
I can’t think of many times I’m without my phone these days.
But when I am, it’s usually because I’m on the lake with the lily pads.
🌿 Lily pads symbolize stillness and protection.
They drift so calmly on the surface.
But work hard to shade the vast ecosystem underneath.
Rooted deep in the mud.
Holding steady where you can’t see it.
