Is it strange that I wake up already bracing?
For noise. Rushing. The cold drive.
Even if I sleep, my body doesn’t always feel rested.
When every moment is timed.
Rest starts to feel unfamiliar.
My nervous system runs on tension.
Tight shoulders, shallow breath.
The hum under my skin.
🌿 Lavender is a nervine.
A plant that speaks to the body in a language softer than words.
It helps loosen what’s clenched.
Coaxes the breath back in.
And reminds me what calm actually feels like.
