Staying healthy is like gardening in unpredictable weather.
When I feel the sun, I'm elated.
I cancel the expensive supplements.
I fill my calendar.
I plant big, ambitious goals.
But the female body has its own seasons.
And hormones — delicate as they are.
Demand more strength and stamina than I’ve rebuilt.
So I crash. Hard.
My healing won't let me sprint.
It’s a slow cultivation.
A gentle kind of gardening.
One that takes practice I don’t yet have.
🌿 Hydrangea blooms shift in color.
Shaped by the unseen chemistry of the soil.
It responds to what’s beneath the surface.
It doesn't bloom until it's listened to the ground.
